Performance ideata in occasione del video alla Fondazione Dino Zoli, Forlì
Il progetto Se ci fosse luce sarebbe bellissimo è il frutto di due anni di lavoro passati nell’azienda Dino Zoli Textile di Forlì con gli operai e le operaie della fabbrica tessile.
Temi centrali del progetto sono il corpo, “abitato” in relazione agli altri e agli spazi deputati al lavoro, e la luce, intesa come elemento di apertura e speranza, di gioia e di abbracci, dopo gli anni della pandemia caratterizzati di buio e solitudine.
Risultato finale della residenza e fulcro della mostra è il video Se ci fosse luce sarebbe bellissimo, realizzato nel gennaio 2023, in cui i gesti del lavoro quotidiano si uniscono ad azioni performative collettive, per tessere nuove relazioni e creare un nuovo habitus.

Performance created on the occasion of the video at Fondazione Dino Zoli, Forlì
If There Were Light, It Would Be Beautiful is the result of a two-year project carried out at the Dino Zoli Textile company in Forlì, in collaboration with the factory’s workers. At the heart of the project are the themes of the body—inhabited in relation to others and to workspaces—and of light, understood as a symbol of openness and hope, of joy and embrace, after the darkness and isolation of the pandemic years.
The final outcome of the residency, and the centerpiece of the exhibition, is the video If There Were Light, It Would Be Beautiful, filmed in January 2023. In it, everyday gestures of labor merge with collective performative actions, weaving new relationships and shaping a renewed habitus.
