Ich bin… du bist

Ich bin.. du bist è un lavoro sul significato e il valore del linguaggio, in questo caso quello amoroso.
La scena è apparentemente bucolica, ma con un cielo plumbeo che ne presagisce il peggio, inizia con una dichiarazione d’amore infinita quasi stucchevole.

La camera riprende con una ripresa da lontano, la scena, in cui il confessionale funge da interfaccia tra i due amanti, quando il campo si stringe sui primi piani ecco svelati dallo sguardo i pensieri inconfessati.

Come in un gioco delle parti tra l’io sono e il tu sei tutto è lecito, tutto diventa il contrario di tutto.
Il video inizia e finisce sulla stessa inquadratura, la circolarità ossessiva e infinita di questo gioco di ruoli e di pensieri ci riporta a un conflitto che appartiene a tutti noi: la relazione con l’altro da sè.

Ich bin… du bist is a work about the meaning and value of language, in this case, the language of love.
The scene is seemingly bucolic, but with a leaden sky that foreshadows the worst. It begins with an infinite, almost cloying declaration of love.
The camera captures the scene from a distance, with the confessional acting as an interface between the two lovers. As the shot tightens to close-ups, the unspoken thoughts are revealed through their gazes.
As in a role-playing game between “I am” and “you are,” everything is permitted, and everything becomes the opposite of everything.
The video begins and ends with the same shot, the obsessive and infinite circularity of this role-playing and thought game brings us back to a conflict that belongs to all of us: the relationship with the other self.
