L’età dell’oro è un’installazione che intende riflettere sul concetto del gioco dell’arte, da qui la struttura giocosa della scultura che allude alla giovinezza e le cui lame così montate la trasformano in un passatempo pericoloso.
Inoltre, l’immagine fotografica è derivata da una rielaborazione di uno scatto di Herb Ritts che riporta la frase Art is dangerous, play it!.
Così, si toccano diverse tematiche: la seduzione dell’oro, il gioco impossibile e le modelle Supertars che tentano di aprire una riflessione “seducente” sul meccanismo del “gioco dell’arte” e le sue regole taglienti.

The Golden Age is an installation that reflects on the concept of art as a game. This is echoed in the playful structure of the sculpture, which evokes youth while its blades, mounted as they are, turn it into a dangerous pastime.
The photographic image included in the work is a reinterpretation of a shot by Herb Ritts, featuring the phrase Art is dangerous, play it!.
The piece weaves together several themes: the seduction of gold, the impossibility of play, and the presence of Supermodel-like figures attempting to provoke a “seductive” reflection on the mechanics of the “art game” and its razor-sharp rules.
