The Fugitive

The Fugitive è una video animazione di sessanta secondi girato in stop motion attraverso un processo di cancellazione e riscrittura continua su un unico foglio.

Il video è stato prodotto per il ventennale della caduta del muro di Berlino su commissione del Berlin Mauer Gedankenstatte ed sinonimo di un tentativo di fuga dalla propria stanza/esistenza.

Il video inizia e finisce sulla stessa inquadratura, la circolarità ossessiva e infinita di questo gioco di ruoli e di pensieri ci riporta a un conflitto che appartiene a tutti noi: la relazione con l’altro da sè.

The Fugitive is a 60-second video animation created using stop-motion through a process of continuous erasure and rewriting on a single sheet of paper.
The video was produced for the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, commissioned by the Berlin Mauer Gedankenstatte, and symbolizes an attempt to escape from one’s own room/existence.
The video begins and ends with the same shot, the obsessive and infinite circularity of this role-playing and thought game brings us back to a conflict that belongs to all of us: the relationship with the other self.
