Tecnica mista, 10 collage
Nel produrre questo lavoro ho focalizzato l’attenzione sulla parola task/Aufgabe che appare nel famoso saggio di Walter Benjamin, Die Aufgabe des Überstezters (1923). Questo concetto mi ha portato ad indagare dieci parole chiave, o come direbbe Benjamin, parole-arco. Così, usando la tecnica del collage ho mostrato le diverse pratiche e potenzialità in relazione alla loro traduzione.
Il Workbook funziona come strumento di indagine attraverso la stretta connessione tra parole, segni e immagini, una sorta di manuale delle pratiche di traduzione che dà al lettore stimoli o visioni sulla parola tradotta.

In creating this work, I focused on the word task/Aufgabe that appears in the famous essay by Walter Benjamin, Die Aufgabe des Überstezters (1923). This concept led me to investigate ten key words, or as Benjamin would say, arc words. Using the technique of collage, I showcased the different practices and potentials in relation to their translation.
Workbook functions as a tool for investigation through the close connection between words, signs, and images, a sort of manual for the practices of translation that provides the reader with stimuli or insights into the translated word.
